The L-Shaped combination door

In addition to wide loft ladder range, FAKRO offers L-shaped combination doors designed for installation in knee walls. They allow access to the non-usable space located just behind the knee wall or under the staircase. In order to satisfy customer needs, FAKRO introduced three models of doors to the product range. The first basic one is insulated DWK L-shaped combination door featuring a sash thickness of 3.6 cm. The DWT highly-insulated model featuring U-value rated at 0.64 W/m²K) can help limit heat loss when correctly installed. The DWF 60 L-shaped combination door has been developed for special application as in addition to excellent insulation performance, it provides fire protection (fire classification EI₁/EI₂ 60) and high tightness.

The L-shaped door DWK is intended to be built in L-shaped walls. The declared U-value (U=1.1 W/m²K) and sealing system help limit heat loss when the door is correctly fitted. The L-shaped doors may be installed in right or left opening versions. As standard the door is provided with lining slats.

The DWT L-Shaped combination doors are designed to provide thermal insulation performance. The 66 mm thick sash fully filled with thermo-insulating material, provides a barrier that helps reduce heat loss (U=0.64 W/m²K*). The doors as standard are equipped with handle and finishing lining. The doors can be installed in two versions of opening (right or left).

The DWF 60 L-shaped combination door enables access to non-habitable rooms situated behind knee walls while ensuring a high level of fire protection on both sides (EI₁/EI₂ 60 – fire classification as per EN 13501-2). The 8.5 cm thick white sash provides a barrier that helps reduce heat loss (U=0.53 W/m²K). The door can be opened to the right or left side. It comes with natural-coloured wooden finishing trims. The sash is equipped with a plug (the handle for opening the door is included).
